My father-in-law has Parkinsons psychosis, but we are having trouble getting him a new neurologist. He just moved across country. Is there somewhere he can stay or be treated while we try and get him treated? He's been staying at my brother in laws house, but he keeps trying to leave in the middle of the night. They are exhausted and aren't getting sleep. Are there resources or anything we can do? We're concerned he will leave and hurt himself or someone else while they are trying to sleep.

See if there are any rehab or nursing facilities that care for dementia/alzheimer patients near them. Usually they have security systems in place that prevent people from wandering off & staff are trained to help when patients get agitated. Praying for all of you 🙏
