I agree with you. My suggestion is to research the procedure as much as possible and if possible reach out to some folks on this site who have had the procedure. Whatever you decide, my prayers are coming your way.

Just had a visit with my neurologist. She suggested DBS after telling me I am near limits for Carbida Levadopa. I am not sure about it and am trying to learn more. The shakes and trembling are just the surface of Parkinsons it runs very deep through my whole life. The idea of going into my skull is daunting to say the least.

DbsSystems are implanted devices designed to put you in control of your symptoms, by precisely stimulating specific areas of the brain. These low electrical pulses help regulate the brain activity to better control your motor symptoms

👋 my dear Maria,

Just something I want to add to your infomation.

I don't know if that may people are aware of the effectiveness of DBS, but many people that I know are finding outstanding results from the surgery. Anyone with dyskenisia or trembling should talk it over with their neurologist.

Love, Jeri
