I live in Huntsville Alabama we have a very good rocksteady boxing facility we talk for speech exercise we do cardio we box for strength and coordination we work on balance we also work with our hands like stacking things so many other things the best of it you spend an hour and half with people who have Parkinson there's alot the coaches are trained for Parkinson and it saved me
Hiya Nige, I've searched and can't find anything in the UK. I'm very keen but I'm up against the ropes so far .......
People speak very highly of it. It's "boxercise"; an exercise regime based on boxing, specifically for people with Parkinson's.
Trouble is it seems more popular in the States. Here in the UK finding an approved/registered provider outside of the big cities is very difficult.
They do have online classes. Check on YouTube.
