I really don't know if the answer but hey have fun you only live once that' the way I'm looking at it
Laurie, I agree with you. Davidak, I do understand that problem, but I only have one three-finger drink with water and I am sitting in my recliner.
Everything in moderation. I’ve read a glass or two of wine is actually good for you. Beyond that it’s bad for you.
My husband used to have a cocktail before dinner at night. Eventually we could tell that it was affecting his Parkinson's meds because he became weaker. He switched to wine and occasional beer. Only 5-1/2 or 6 oz of wine, and a very small amount of beer (maybe 5-6 ozs.) With that small amount it did not affect his medications. But everyone is different, so please check with your Neurologist. I always said, if the Parkinson's expert says it is ok, then go for it. I always wanted my husband to have all the pleasures he wanted. However, my husband always walked and did his exercises so that kept him in pretty good shape, so he didn't get unsteady. Someone with unsteadiness and many falls would be wise not to drink before speaking with your Neurologist.
I guess if I'm going to fall wth
