Osiyo Patricia! My Psychiatrist, whom I have been seeing for several years has diagnosed me with MDD (Major Depressive Disorder) and also GAD (Generalized Anxiety Disorder). I have been on several different antidepressants which have worked for some time and then the MDD gets worse and we change meds. I am currently taking Trintellix 20mg every evening and it is helping for now. As for the GAD I have been taking Buspirone 30mg twice daily for several years. It has helped control the Panic Attacks for sure! I did have several falls back in March 2024 that it turns out was due to a drug-drug interaction between the Primidone that I was taking twice daily for my tremors and which I asked my PCP to increase to three times daily and two anti hypertension meds. The Hospitalist stopped one and cut the other daily dose in half. Problem resolved- no more falls recently. I still have chronic dizziness and take Meclizine 25mg once daily routinely and can take up to three times daily as needed. The unsteady gate and balance issues are an ongoing problem which my Physical Therapist recommended to my PCP that I be changed from the Hurricane 🌀 walking stick to a Rollator walker which I have been using for the last 2 months and it has helped. I am scheduled to see my new Neurologist (a Movement Disorder Specialist) in early November for the second time. And so my Parkinsonism journey continues…. Hope this long story is somewhat helpful! God Bless your journey as well! 🙂
Andi good information thank you. Can I ask you what part of south Jersey do you live in. I'm in Barnegat NJ. I do gummies once in a while and at times they will help. My problem is I don't have the money to buy them. I always go to a dispensary to get them when I can. I am so scared to go back on any Antidepressants. I lost over 3 years of my life because of my old psychiatrist. I don't remember anything. My family and friends tell me how crazy I was. Don't remember a thing. This Dr cause my PD. My pd is drug inducted. I lived in denial about pd for years. I'm just starting to understand pd. When I was falling all the time. Broken bones and fractures throughout my body. since being offooff the medication I have.

I dont have a way to get their. I can get rides for local Dr. Thank God I'm back. Thank you for listening to me.
