My husband sleep’s practically all day. In total he may be awake for 1-2 hours. He sleeps at least 6 hours at night. His day is spent sleeping in bed or in his recliner.
Does anyone else have this issue?

Yes. I’ve never taken so many naps in my life. Then don’t sleep at night very well.

My mother has PD and sleeps 20 hours a day. I have taken her to two neurologists who both tell us that it is the disease. People are affected differently. She is also 95 so she might sleep more even without PD but it definitely factors in.

I sleep a lot too. Nap right after breakfast and again after lunch for a couple of hours. I always think I can finish a project but most days I can't. I think this is part of P.D. that really bothers me as I have always been a very active person.

Your husband's behaviour is normal for PD. I get 3 hours of energy off the couch per day even after a good night's sleep. No coffee doesn't help. :)

Yes, I’m always tired. It’s all part of the pd
