Multiple System Atrophy (MSA) is a type of parkinsonism, which is a syndrome characterized by symptoms such as bradykinesia (slowed movements), tremors, loss of balance, and stiffness. MSA is one of the less common types of parkinsonism, distinct from Parkinson's disease but sharing some similar symptoms.

I was diagnosed with MSA the last week of August, 2022 when I was 60. Kind of a "Boot to the Head" in the parlance of Monte Python. Now every time I have something different happen, the question, "Is it related to the MSA" playing in the back of my mind!
A good friend and neighbor of mine was diagnosed with MSA. Unfortunately, he has progressed very quickly. He is the only person I know that has it, so I can’t speak to how most or the median progression is. Sorry, but keep talking and questioning
