Members had a lighthearted and warm conversation sparked by one member's experience of hearing a fellow member's voice while reading her posts, with the group exploring whether this might be linked to synesthesia, Bipolar disorder, or simply an imaginative mind. Several members shared personal health context, including living with both Parkinson's disease and Bipolar disorder, noting that medication changes and neurological conditions can sometimes cause unusual sensory experiences. A recurring theme was mutual support and humor, with members encouraging each other to bring these curious experiences up with their doctors while laughing through the heat, housework, and everyday challenges of life.

Colleen, it's really happening. Of course I don't know if she really sounds like that. It's not out loud, it's in my head. I have a mental picture of her as well. This happens only to Nancy's posts, no one else's.

Paul, I would love to hear in colours. I would probably then listen lo less of the nonsense I listen to now.

David Baldacci wrote a novel "Memory Man" about a guy that saw numbers in colours. I thought it was a nice fictional topic until I found out it's real. I believe it is called synesthesia.

Hi there LaniEngelbrecht, well if you can hear me through my writing, you probably picked up my southern accent. Haha! Hope you are having a good holiday season. Hope you are getting all your answers needed about PD and getting adapted to your medication. Heartfelt thoughts coming your way. Happy holidays.

Okay, Lani. It's time to see a shrink. Of course, I am trying to be funny, but that is odd.
