In my lounge today! This is my black table lamp and the bulb went pop.... I've changed the bulb I've changed the fuse and it doesn't work what do I do?

Throw it out and get a new lamp.
Plug something else into the socket, like another lamp whatever, that is fully operational. This will tell you if it is the wall socket or the lamp originally failed. Same test to check bulb. If it is the plug, you have blown the circuit to the board (fuse box) and may involve other plugs on the same electrical run (line). This can also be
found by checking the fuse box and tracing which fuse is dedicated to which area. You may need to replace the fuse.

Ah. You didn't mention the magic smoke. Everything electrical in the world runs on it. If you let the magic smoke out, it doesn't work any more.
My antique lamp had an exploding light bulb. I took the lamp to a lamp shop and they rewired it for me.
@A MyParkinsonsTeam Member 50Hz. Our AC switches at 50Hz. It's part of why you have NTSC whereas we have PAL on our TVs.
@A MyParkinsonsTeam Member I still think your lamp is a simple repair job. New flex, new socket, new plug. Even in my much-reduced state, if I was closer I'm sure I could fix this for you in under an hour.
