I think you may have taken his "two inches" as a typo rather than a joke...
Your medication times seem fine...similar to mine, but I'm on four doses at 8am, 1pm, 6pm and 11pm.
I don't know what you're taking or how long you've been taking it, but timing if medications is a bit of a moveable feast, and is best discussed with your doctor... but don't let them dictate to you! If you think your timings aren't optimised, say so, and try and propose a schedule that you think works (or will work) for you.

Depends how many you take at any one time. Generally two inches would be the recognised distance apart .
