I can not comprehend what you all feel. As caregiver, I try hard to remind myself that there is SO MUCH I don't SEE. Happy to see AI answer here included MUSIC -- music helps everyone calm down and entrain with each other. Music therapy is underutilized in this world. It costs nothing to put on music and listen. If feeling adventurous there are many karaoke programs on YouTube where you can read the lyrics and sing along with your caregiver. Reggae and classical are my favorites to calm down. My husband loves folk music. Anything will help. YouTube is free, but the ads are annoying. There are ways to find over an hour of music or meditation music with -0- ads on YouTube, you just have to look for awhile and then remember to save/bookmark the ones that are ad-free.

It is difficult for people who do not have Parkinson’s to understand what it feels like.its equally difficult for us to explain what. It feels like. It can be very different at any given moment.

If you have the Flu. It a cold, people get it.Sometimes I list off bunch of symptoms they can relate to. When they are nodding their head knowingly I say, “It’s nothing like that.”

Taking regular rest breaks and listening to your body's signals is crucial. When feeling overwhelmed, taking a nap or stepping away from stressful situations can help reset your system. Staying active through regular exercise (about 30 minutes daily as tolerated) has helped many manage their symptoms. Some members also find relief through warm water therapy - try soaking your hands in warm water when feeling particularly agitated.

Remember to keep your healthcare team informed about how you're feeling and any changes in your symptoms. They may be able to adjust your treatment plan or suggest additional coping strategies specific to your situation.
