I can NOT take more. IIf needed.I am between a rock and a hard spot..If I take more, which my neuro has recommended, because I go MANIC,.mand its a FINE LINE, between that, and not being Ble to take a step. So, thats where my choice is. Yikes. Its getting real old.
I add an extra half pill if I need to. An extra whole pill will often cause nausea. I have the blessing of a couple of neurologists to do this. I haven't had issues with low blood pressure.
Thank you!
My dosage is 25/100 2 pills 4 times a day.
I can’t take two at a time, it lowers my blood pressure.
I take them an hr and a half apart.
By 10 pm that’s my last pill. I usually take a 50/200
Extended release pill for the night.
I also take one mid morning to get me going.
My doctor prescribed me Amantadine, an add on pill to make the levadopa last longer . But I didn’t respond to it well.
I have yet to get him to prescribe me something else.
Ask your doctor to up your medicine or prescribed you an add on.
It's important to only take carbidopa/levodopa as prescribed by your doctor. While these medications are powerful treatments for Parkinson's symptoms, taking extra doses can lead to serious side effects including:
• Confusion
• Lightheadedness
• Low blood pressure
• Hallucinations
• Dyskinesia (involuntary movements) If Show Full Answer
