While there aren't specific mentions of Onapgo in the search results, several MyParkinsonsTeam members have shared positive experiences with apomorphine infusion pumps. One member reported that after starting to use an infusion pump, they no longer experienced falling or freezing episodes, which had been one of their biggest problems. Infusion pumps typically work through a small, battery-operated device called a syringe driver that delivers consistent medication through a port inserted under your skin, usually in the thigh or lower stomach area. The device is only used during waking hours and removed at night.
If you're feeling nervous about starting an infusion pump, know that your healthcare team will provide thorough training for both you and your family members on proper usage and injection techniques.
