I'm in a clinical trial using stem cells for Parkinson's treatment. The surgery will happen early next year. They drew my blood and are currently modifying it to make the dopamine producing neurons. I'm very excited about this opportunity and hoping it will be the future of Parkinson's treatment.
It was tru stem cell in Illinois. I'm not saying that it doesn't help some people just didn't help me you can Google it and learn all about it.
@A MyParkinsonsTeam Member Please elaborate. When and where did you try it ? Did they put the stem cells in your brain?
I tried and it was expensive with no benefit.
It's a clinical trial run by Harvard and Brigham and Womens hospital in Boston.
