Inactivity can make PD worse, as can stress, and taking meds off schedule. So an operation that lays you up for a while could be a problem. Whether the results are permanent or not could depend on how much effort you make afterwards to recover lost strength.

Whoever programmed/taught AI should be drawn & quartered! However, I find some of it's misinterpretation amusing hence allowing it to answer.

PDers often have bad results with anesthesia.

I suspect we also have bad results with surgery as well. I’ve never read anything about that, though.
