A good PT can help with the freezing and small steps. See if the LSVT-Big program is offered near you.
Some options are to step backward or sideways if you can't step forward, using music to help unfreeze, or having someone put their foot in front of yours so you have to consciously lift your foot to get over it. Practice going through doors and going from carpet to tile, those kind of changes seem to trigger freezing.
I have the he exact same issue going on with my feet freezing and not being able to move. I haven't found a cure but my neurologist mentioned to me to look at my feet and imagine the moving . And my therapy person told me to just continue saying take a big step take a big step take a big step . Sometimes she helps and sometimes she doesn't that's best I have to offer.

Hi everyone haven't been on here for awhile since my phone was down. I'm going through stages like freezing on the spot my feet seem to be glued to thep floor an̈d then I'm unbalanced and making short steps, I'm wondering from day to day what else can I expect. Love Joyce
