Don’t just load him with sugar. Give him high energy snacks that don’t have the sugar crash
@A MyParkinsonsTeam Member - welcome to the rollercoaster known as Parkinson's; unfortunately, lack of energy, napping, snacking - it's all part and partial to PD. The best advice I can give is to have healthy, energy-packed snacks at the ready, and let him rest as oftne as he needs (even if it's not an actual nap) to regain his energy. Every day will be different, some good/some bad. Bless you both 💖
My husband also needs to eat snacks between meals to keep his strength— this too normal for Parkinson’s?
Yes absolutely— thank you we rarely have any sugar in our home 🏠
Oh yes— its fine — pretty normal
Thanks 😊
