Did any of you have bowel motility problems very early on
Sometimes it seems there is no happy medium, some things cause one problem, others another
I thought bisocoidal (Ducolax) suppository was the right thing for my Grandmother.
My own skin, though,
in that area reacts to it.
Also, I could go days without a b.m., but all the while taking Mag Citrate every evening. Finally, I can't stand it anymore and I do the suppository. The glycerin kind don't help me go. It's… read more

Currently an all fruit lunch diet, daily, is working for me. Having fun making different home varieties of fruit salad.

Hi Faustina! I eat 5-6 prunes most nights. That seems to work for me. In other times when I don’t eat prunes & it gets to days I can’t go I take Miralax. Walmart has their brand called Clearlax & it just the same. It works different from the Metamucil that I took for so long, but seemed to take too long to work when it had been too many days not going. You just Miralax in the required amount of water & stir until completely dissolved. I like to add a bit of juice or tea to give it a slight flavor after using the required amt of water. Sometimes if no results the next day, I’ll take another dose that night. If still not working well I will take another dose the day after poor results, waiting until the next day. Always works, but sometimes it has to work through it all, but it will empty alot out.
I saw my friend’s little granddaughter having to take it given by her Pediatrician, so it is gentle enough for children. And it works. But I have fallen in love with prunes right out of the box & have to stop myself after 5-6 at night watching tv.
Hope this will be a help to you. I thank God for learning about Miralax then Walmart’s Clearlax that works the same but much cheaper. By the way Ducolax & other suppositories just may make you go a little, but doesn’t get to the area that needs to work down & out.
Love & Blessings

So good to hear from you. I know about MiraLax & also how it can be used as a Mirablast double. It's just that I have pretty much gone all natural with anything I take internally. I also notice that ClearLax or Miralax drag all moisture to my gut and leave me feeling dehydrated. It works to be sure! I just would like something healthier if possible.
Prunes actually contain too much natural sweet for me, and I can bear them, but not a big fan of prunes.
I haven't communicated with you in such a long time. I do hope you are still able to make it out to Mass sometimes?
