She said not worried because I’ve had it a while & it hasn’t changed me” My question to you is does someone with Parkinson’s decease aware there personality has changed sometimes?
I have noticed that before I was diagnosed with Parkinson’s, I was pretty much able to hold my tongue, when someone said something that hurt my feelings. Now I catch myself having a snarky come back when someone says something that irritates me. I regret it immediately but I can't seem to stop myself. 😕
That doesn't sound like a problem. That sounds like a solution. My husband has PD, and at 65, I'm thinking of retiring (he is already retired) so that the both of us have more time together.
Hang in there. I have Parkinson’s’ I notice my personality a lil.
I am also guilty of a shorter fuse. I am thinking that I should retire and spend more time living. My problem is, I am 68 yrs. old and I don't want to waste a minute of what time I have left.
Yep, guilty as charged. I used too have a very long fuse....I like to think I can still keep my mouth shut most of the time...then again maybe I'm just trying to fool myself.
