My HWP has had BPPV (Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo) a couple times. There is an exercise on youtube that works. Also, you can get a PT referral and they can help with the exercise/procedure.

Was your dizziness constant no matter what you were doing? Did the doctor provide any information regarding the condition. Also what is ER and CR medication. My husband is only on carbo/levo and midodrine.

I am convinced that his dizziness is an eye, ear, brain coordination issue that may or may not be Parkinson’s related. We have a regularly scheduled appointment with his Neurologist later this month so I will present my questions to her. I’m not hopeful, but I am tryin)g to find some relief for him. Might try suggesting to your physician about the vestibule-ocular reflex may be an avenue to explore. Not sure there is a remedy but perhaps tailored eye exercises might help. Good luck.

I have had these symptoms for almost 4 months. I went to my PCP and he said it wasn't an ear infection, not orthostatic hypotension. I called my motion specialist and he said Parkinsons wasn't related to dizziness unless I had low BP. Then I went to an ENT and he saw he was pretty sure my symptoms were from PD. Said he had seen it before. After a telehealth with the PA who works with the motion specialist and she agreed that it was probably caused by PD but nothing much you can do about it. She didn't want to change meds

Diagnosed three years. Had dizziness and blurred vision for months. Neurologist appointments 12 months out so foolishly I waited. He changed medication from ER to CR and I paid more attention to med schedule. Much improved but dept perception off. Am careful sitting any thing down!
