Amen, @SusanBaily! I never get tired of peanut butter. Different people have different needs. My favorite neurologist since my diagnosis told me that I probably do best with a higher protein, lower carbohydrate diet.
I understand that cow milk really messes with some people, but I have always felt like my battery is run down if I don't have some whole milk every day. I have been tested, @A MyParkinsonsTeam Member, and milk does not bother my digestive system at all.
@SusanBaily, my favorite sandwich is a Cheetah choker which is of course bread, peanut butter then honey, banana slices and then a layer of original flavored potato chips before the top bread slice! Kids love to make Cheetah chokers, of course now, I have to explain about Tarzan and his pet chimpanzee, named Cheetah. While we're on the subject, peanut butter is also good on celery.
@A MyParkinsonsTeam Member, A glass of whole milk and peanut butter has always been the best choice for me when I need energy. For decades, I’ve heard that low-fat milk was best, but I always felt like my battery was low if I didn't have milk every day. Now, I read recently, that whole milk is a factor against Parkinson's. I can't remember exactly what it said, but somehow or another, whole milk helps us fight off Parkinson's!
The peanut butter can be put on anything such as celery, apple slices, crackers, etxetera. You can top the peanut butter with honey or a variety of stuff, or sometimes, when I'm really wiped out, I'll simply get a big blob of peanut butter on a spoon, sprinkle it with honey.

@A MyParkinsonsTeam Member, This crazy roller-coaster weather caused me to be extra congested. Tropicana no pulp orange juice with added calcium and later, hot lemon zinger tea with honey fixed me all up quickly!
