My m.i.l. sometimes experiences nausea after her morning C/L It is entirely random (so very frustrating). We have started having a little glass of ginger ale after breakfast and that seems (fingers crossed) to be helping. I feel as if we are always in pursuit of a new adaptation for something that crops up. One of my biggest surprises (and most powerful learning experiences!) as a caregiver has been that while PD is often characterized by a specific group of physical symptoms, the reality is that every person responds differently, and has a unique experience of challenge or difficulty. I continue to read everything available to try to stay current, but I have come to understand and appreciate how the same diagnosis can look, feel, and be so, so different among individuals living with PD. An extra hug today for those frustrated by their symptoms and for those who love them so deeply!

Thank you Ginny. I will try the crackers and fruit no protein and wish for the best.

My husband sometimes throws up after taking c/l. It is very hit or miss. Sometimes in the morning, sometimes at dinner. Taking the pills with food can help, but try to avoid protein. He'll eat crackers or fruit sometimes to prevent the nausea.
