Sorry for myself. Because of my lightheadedness I am so limited with what I can do. And it makes me both sad and mad. This OH. Is killing me. I’m trying to be strong and accept what I can’t control. But this has to be the biggest battle I’ve ever faced. I’m so lucky I have support. I hope everyone fighting this debilitating disease has support. This group is a part of my support. Thank you so much to all of you. You make things better ❤️🩹
I can relate!
Thanks Michael. I’m an emotional person for sure. Was crying watching a movie last night. 😢
Hi @A MyParkinsonsTeam Member I completely agree with you ! I have had many challenges and having PD is life altering. Like you, I’m mad, sad, frustrated and angry. I am deeply grateful for this site and the wonderful people here.
By the way, I am also a very emotional person. I am a Highly Sensitive Person HSP. You might check it out. For years, I knew that I was different and now knowing that I am a HSP, I am happy about that. For years, I tried to not be so sensitive. Now, I embrace that I am.
I cry at touching commercials lol.
Roseann, You must fight with every resource available to you. exercise, PT, getting the proper meds. Do not allow this Parkinsons Devil to win.!!!!
First, those feelings are completely valid. Crying, feeling sad, feeling mad — that's not weakness, that's being human. Living with Parkinson's and orthostatic hypotension (OH) is genuinely hard, and some days the weight of it all just lands differently. You don't have to be strong every single day.
