@A MyParkinsonsTeam Member, There are a lot irritating quirks in this website. If I didn't love MyParkinsonsTeam members so much, I would have nothing to do with a crazy site that won't let us share contact information if we want to and makes messages disappear suddenly and changes pages suddenly and won't let you go back to where you were. I can rarely find anything on this website.

It is the most difficult support group to navigate compared to my other disease sites

I just log in a couple of times a day and go down the list of all posts. You can also go only to people on your team by going to the Activity section and clicking on Team. I have notifications set so that I only get team requests rather than all the posts from all the people on my team.

I have found that this is one of the best website for Parkinsons disease , it's not perfect but at least there is no " I call it catfishing here , you know people trying to take advantage of you because your of sickness . Let's all hang in there and keep praying ๐Ÿ™ and fighting this disease together , and GOD will do the rest

It's wonderful that you want to be there for others right away โ€” that kind of support means so much! The delay in emails is actually a known quirk of the system. After changing your notification settings, it can take a few days for the updates to fully kick in. In the meantime, here's how to check notifications more directly without waiting for emails:

- Log into your account
- Look for the bell icon in the upper corner of your screen
- Select it to see your most recent notifications instantly
- Choose "View All Notifications" to see everything in one place

Notifications are listed with the most recent at the top, so it's easy to jump in and respond quickly. To adjust your email settings so they better match what you want going forward:

1. Log in and select the menu icon in the upper left corner
2. Select Email Settings
3. Toggle the sliders to turn specific email notifications on or off

Just keep in mind that any changes may take a few days to take effect. Checking the bell icon directly is the fastest way to stay in the loop right now!
