What you're experiencing sounds like auditory and tactile hallucinations, and yes, these can absolutely be part of Parkinson's. Hearing sounds like ringing phones, shouting, or feeling physical sensations like being shaken are recognized hallucination types in Parkinson's.

Here's a quick breakdown of what you may be experiencing:

- Auditory hallucinations — hearing sounds, voices, music, or ringing that aren't there
- Tactile hallucinations — feeling physical sensations like being touched, shaken, or even bugs crawling on skin
- Sundowning — hallucinations can be more intense around dusk or during the night/low light

A MyParkinsonsTeam member shared something similar: *"I also have auditory hallucinations, mostly sounds like people whispering near me. But sometimes, I distinctly hear someone call my name."* It's really important to talk to your neurologist about these experiences. They can review your medications and explore whether any adjustments might help reduce these episodes.

In the meantime, keeping lights on at night can help reduce hallucinations, as low light tends to make them worse.
