I have loss of smell. first thought it was the result of treatment following a serious nose bleed. Now think it was a very early sign of P/D. Taste is not affected

I have lost my sense of smell. I have lost most of my sense of taste except for sweet and salty. I couldn't smell my lilacs.

Agreed, I have loss of sense of smell and found a few years ago I suffered a lot of nose bleeds. My specialist said I had very thin nose blood vessels and lasered them to stop the bleed. Now I am sure it was the start of my Parkinsons, which was officially diagnosed in Marhc of 2015
