Hello. I'm not sure if this is a condition of PD or I was just cold from having slushy yesterday. Afterward, I had numbness and tingling on top of my fingertips which I've never ever had it b4. Also, my blood pressure is very low. Pls advise. Thank you and have a blessed Sunday! Hug Keo
Hubby's fingers get like that more often, PD Specialist told him it was from one of his meds, can't remember which one he asked that he took. Also, a couple of yrs ago he started having trouble w/ dizziness and passing out. He was getting low blood pressure, when he always had high BP (and was still taking meds for it). One of his meds was also making him perspire more than he ever has, hence dehydration became the other issue. He is now on a med for Low BP, and is suppose to eat salt, drink Gatorade, water, coffee, etc. to rehydrate. When you are sitting for a long period of time, stand in place when you first get up, and don't be in a hurry to move. PD blood pressure can take longer to come back up upon standing. Hope that helps.
I have had tingling on fingers some but with my feet...always.
I get the same thing. Also my lower legs get numb.
This is neurapathy and is a common PD symptom and can be legs and feet too. Hypotension is also common. My husband has both.
