I post articles and facts about PD on social media.I have written a testimony about my YOPD for an upcoming booklet for the Montreal branch provincial organization "Parkinson Quebec "Of course, there is more awareness to do because I am not the "typical PD patient "
I plan on 'coming out of the closet' about my YOPD in April for Parkinson's Awareness Month
My Dad and I started a blog, https://fatherdaughterparkyblog.wordpress.com/ It's meant to be humourous, but honest and informative.

All of us contribute in one way or another. Get politically involved by letting your Congressman know there is a PWP in the commmunity.
I've started a blog with articles and research of interest to Parkinson's (just started, not very far along, it's intended to be science, treatment, and research related rather than a personal journal). Post stuff mainly on Facebook regarding Parkinson's, and have performed with the local Dance for Parkinson's group in various venues to raise awareness, appeared in local media outlets as such (not so much my own doing, but participation with a larger group), and have written a few tunes to raise awareness and posted on youtube ( https://youtu.be/A1UUbuLfXdk ) is one of them that folks seem to like.
