Mine started about 3 weeks ago. I do not feel sick and I'm on 3 different allergy medications.
@A MyParkinsonsTeam Member - since the runny nose is going to apparently stay with us, maybe we should invest in a tissue factory - we could get regular supplies and at the same time, earn something while using the product! We could call it PD Sniffles Fighters...No? Well, I said my sense of humor was bent.
I do, but it started long before I was diagnosed with PD - I'm told I have a problem with sensitivity to small particles of anything - dust , plant fibers, cat fur, anything that smells good...pardon the last bit of facetiousness.
Oh yes. I hadn't thought to make the connection. Back at the beginning of PD, my glaucoma went away. Found that odd too.
My husband has a constant runny nose and refuses to take allergy medication seeing the amount of pills he takes already.
If there were a market for nasal mucus I would be a millionaire. I have a constant runny nose it gets worse when I eat and when I go to bed it runs down the back of my throat and I wake up gargling , I can't use normal decongestants as they intere at with PD meds , I have been prescribed a steroid spray which helps a little - winte is coming on which means it will get worse - oh the joys of having PD
