I cry when I am happy and when sad even if it's nothing. Way too emotional.

That’s the sort of thing l mean. People find it hard to understand what I’m saying if I cry at the same time. Sometimes l start to laugh for no apparent reason

To @A MyParkinsonsTeam Member: You and I are two peas in a pod :) Every national anthem chokes me up; people singing in church will do it (I admire people who were blessed with a great set of singing "pipes"); and when my BB team (6th grade girls) recite a prayer before each game, the tears come as well.....A little embarrassing, but I've learned to deal with it. The opposite is laughing at inappropriate times, and that hasn't happened yet, so I'll take the tears in these instances :)

Happens to me a lot (choking and tearing up) at the stupidest things. Its called "emotional incontinence". I was told it happens with PD, but it's more prevalent with atypical PD, and that scares the hell out of me. My MDS has mentioned atypical PD to me, but she isn't ready to pull the trigger on that diagnosis just yet. If/when I start falling, I know the dx of PSP is just around the corner.....

Are you taking Azlect?

Side of Azlect is periods of hysterical crying, sadness, doom - how do I know this? It happened to me, 40 55 minute crying uncontrollable crying jigs. I was on the verge, went to my neurologists and he informed me of the side effect.

I swear I was born with the luck of the Irish. The other side effect was hysterical laughter, inappropriate comments and gestures, laughing when inappropriate. All the things that would have made my life fun, but I only experienced the bad side of the medication.
