Hello, my dad doesnt have alot of trouble swallowing if he is careful, but very often food seems to get like a stuck feeling right down by his chest area and makes him bring it back up , . Is this a common symptom, I am not sure how to advise him as he needs to eat. It can be any texture food , even soft food randomly it happens, thank you, Lynne.
Thank you, it's quite worrying. Thank so much for the info. I will read all and then decide what to tell my dad as he is quite frightened xx

All the best
Thank you, I am trying to persuade him to see the doctor about it, although we have twice before and they put us in touch with the speech therapist who helps dad with swallowing and foods etc. Is there any meds that maybe beneficial does anyone know? Xxx
I have a problem with swallowing
You need to call your attending physician describe the problem, no doubt you’ll have to make an appointment. He/she will direct you where to go. This problem may not be related to Pd. This is my suggestion.
