My first try with Leva Dopa was a disaster. I started having panic attacks about when I tried the Leva Dopa and I really fell apart. After things settled down I made a fresh start. Apart from a brief period between doses when it stops working it Is very beneficial. Love that med!
Also take Propanalol with the levodopa. It calms me. However, it leaves me flat, not depressed, just not enthused.

I just started on levodopa (3 weeks ago) and not experiencing any stomach problems. But the hand tremors haven't stopped or even slowed down.

I am sorry that you are having stomach pain. I had some nausea but not that pain. I hope that it is better and/or that your doctor can help. I do not know that this will help with the pain, but, oddly enough, I have found that chewing sugarless gum helps me with many symptoms. Including helping me go to sleep. Ends up in my hair sometimes, but sleep is worth it . It is something about the chewing action and my brain!
