Tampa, FL

Was wondering if this is related to PD or something altogether different. After sitting down for long periods of time either watching tv or eating at a restaurant and especially getting out of bed in the morning, I have terrible pains in all joints. I look like I am 104 years old getting out of bed in the mornings. Does anyone know if this is a symptom of PD?? Bean

The muscle pain and joint pain, associated with stiffness are all Parkinson's
disease symptoms. When you take the medication and its active, the pain
goes away, then it comes back on the next off cycle. This happens especially
if you do some exercise during the previous cycle and the dopamine is over drawn. The resultant body ache and joint pain all appear as breakthrough symptoms. However this should not dissuade you from exercising. Just make sure that you do it close to the current peak of the On time. In Parkinson's disease everything is timing especially if you are taking the levodopa 3 or more times a day.

So glad to hear about the Melatonin. I have been taking the new melatonin Res Med. It is a timed release melatonin and it works. I am also on CBD so I take the Res Med and my drops and I am out for the night.. It was given to me by my sleep dr. and I have never been able to take it before.. I sleep from 10 until about 7. It is great

I have the same problem. My lower back hurts after sitting and in bed making it difficult to turn and move in bed. It improves with movement. My massage therapist told me it's because my muscles are tight all the time and blood flow is decreased to the muscles. Massage did help. Any other suggestions for dealing with this?
