Catherine, wife and husband are truly one. So you both have Parkinson’s. Only your husband manifests the symptoms. As your soulmates caregiver you share in all the emotional ups and downs, the trials and tribulations, the aches and pains, the anxieties, the absolute bottoms that this monster takes one too. Caregivers are secondary victims and are in no less need for support and comfort as well.
I was a 24/7 caregiver for my late wife as we fought for our lives against the killer, non Hodgkin lymphoma. I say “our” lives because when we lost the battle I lost half of my life.
You certainly belong on this site and deserve all the support and comfort and prayers that you can get from us out here. You have mine starting now!
My prayers wrapped up in big hugs I’m sending to you now.

Definitely yes. My husband has Parkinson's. He was diagnosed a year ago. There are a lot of us on here, both partners and other family members like children and siblings.
