You could get your ears and your blood pressure checked or you could have a tilt table test, and I suppose they could do blood work for a possible infection, but you have Parkinson’s, just check with your neurologist. These symptoms are very common in Parkinson’s.
My wife has the same problem. She goes to a PT who slaps her up side of the head to move the crystal back in place now, I know that sounds weird, but it works. You had no idea Parkinson’s could cause this, but it makes sense. It messes with everything else.
Thanks, I’ll check into it.
Always ask your Neurologist first.
I had some serious dizziness that really caused me some problems. I went to a physical therapist, and she found that I had a problem in my inner ear. she used a device that allowed her to look behind my eyes to see my inner ear area. a symptom with Parkinsons is losing different things. She explained that there is a part of the inner ear that has hollow tubes that have crystals that "float" in some fluid. These crystals are what gives us balance. As you turn your head ot move around these crystals move back and forth to "counterbalance" your movement which makes us stable.
She found that I do not have as much fluid as I should in these tubes and that a crystal had gotten stuck on a nerve. She fixed the problem and gave me some advice to sleep on the opposite side of my head at night.
This may have sounded weird, but she works at a hospital here in Portland, Or that has a outstanding physical therapy facility.
