I have pain with my hips and have had for a few years now, which I always thought was part of my PD. Nowadays , my doc has noticed a big change on x-ray with one hip and says he recommends hip replacement. But I'm scared my recovery will be more difficult than most people's recovery. Does anyone know?

Did pain in your hip IMPROVE a lot, though, after hip replacement surgery? Thanks

I had a hip replacement in 2010 and it still bothers me both sides but not enough to slow me down
