Good point Nigel. I hope we learn more about this soon so there may be a way to diagnosis and track progression with some certainty besides the subjective process of tracking symptoms and individual interpretation..

This is an interesting one. Although I've seen reference to the fact that bioavailability of controlled release versions is lower (about half, if I recall), this is the first time I have seen a difference in guidelines for prescription...1600mg daily for CR as opposed to the usual 800mg.

In the UK there are guidelines for start dose and a maximum daily dose...though the latter may have a financial component. I'll try to find my links...
Possibly...but "can we measure it" and "do we need to" are different questions...
Nigel, Not to be cynical but there is no money in knowing this info. Do you think that type of study would also negate the issue of dopamine, serotonin and norepi being currently inseparable? I suppose a bundled value would tell us more than no value at all. That is how we started with measuring cholesterol before we new their were various components.
