I have been increasing my med everytime I visited my MDS but my main symptom which is walking didn't get any better.
I do have parkinson and peripheral neuropathy both but my Dr. Only focus on my parkinson symptom. Now i am wondering, should I go see a 0rthopidic or podiatrist too?
It's the pain makes it difficult to walk. I thought it was weakness but pain in my hip joint cause my knee to bend a little automatically. About 10 minutes of walking, I need to sit down.
Without being more specific about why it is difficult to walk, it is hard to know what to suggest. If the problem is dizziness then your neurologist is probably the one that could help you. If your problem is pain in your back then it's an orthopedist.
If the problem is your feet it would be a podiatrist. If it is weakness it may be time to consider physical therapy.

I think you are right.
I was solely depened on my neuroligist but neuropathy, I don't know which doctor to go for treatment without more med.
I don't know how I got neuropathy but neuropathy symptom showed before parkinson.
I don't have diabetes.
A podiatrist is good for feet as long as surgery isn’t required. If no surgery is needed the orthopedist won’t be able to help much. Do you know what the neuropathy is from? Diabetes maybe? A neurologist usually won’t address neuropathy is it isn’t part of a neurological problem.
I would sée all three.they specialize in different areas. Then you will get the best care possible.
