Members responded to concerns about abdominal cramps and stomach burning from Lecardop/Sinemet meds with a variety of helpful tips for easing digestive discomfort. Several members shared that eating a light carb snack like crackers, applesauce, shortbread, or yogurt with their meds, along with drinking a large glass of water, made a noticeable difference. A recurring theme was avoiding protein for about an hour around medication time, and managing related issues like constipation with fiber supplements, Miralax, probiotics, and aloe vera juice.

I have a little plastic pot in which I've mixed half a teaspoon of ground ginger and four teaspoons table sugar. Just dabbing my finger on the top of it and then in my tongue picks up enough to settle any nausea.

Sometimes something happens and I think I imagine it. I have found that I have a burning sensation in my stomach after I have taken the pills. I don't know which one is causing this, but I think I must follow your advice!
