I agree that you should also have your spine checked. I found out that I have cervical stenosis and unfortunately it imitates a lot of Parkinson's ailments so that it's made it very hard to determine what is doing what to me. I did finally agree to the operation to stabilize my spinal cord in my neck. I figured then Physical Therapy will have more effect because it'll be working with a more solid foundation. I have my operation March 5th.

Several years ago I had to ha:ve surgery for my left hand pinky and next finger due to pressure on the ulnar nerve. The dumbness left. If your other 3 fingers go numb, then it is called carpal tunnel.

I have a constant numbness into my left pinky and ring finger. Numbness will occasionally hit my index finger and thumb. It is also into the right hand occasionally.
I've had three EMG's done with differing results. Each time the neurologist would say the test is not conclusive for nerve related issues. (Things can be firing fine during the test or in the region they probe)
I needed an MRI to pinpoint my issue which is central and Foraminal stenosis at C5-C6.
I have had previous cervical spine surgery due to injuries and am scheduled to have the C6 area fixed which should alleviate the numbness into the hand.
I cannot do chiropractic work do to my fused neck, it's an option if you can find a good one. Just be careful with your neck.
