Las Vegas, NV

I am currently in a short term care facility. I am looking for a good quality long term facility to transfer to when I am done here. Here at my short term facility they want me to provide them with a list of places I’d be interested in. I am located in Henderson/Las Vegas Area. I would like to have my choices blessed by the Parkinson’s Foundation. Please help me get started on this as time is of the essence. If you don’t know how to do this please ask someone who does.

The best first step is to contact the Parkinson's Foundation Helpline at (Phone number can only be seen by the question and answer creators). Their specialists can help you locate and evaluate quality long-term care facilities in the Henderson/Las Vegas area that have experience caring for people with Parkinson's disease. They can provide guidance on what specific features and services to look for in a facility that will best meet your needs. When evaluating facilities, it's important to work with your current healthcare team and social worker to help make this transition. They can assist in determining what level of care you'll need and help review potential facilities. This is an important decision that shouldn't be rushed, but given your time constraints, reaching out to the Parkinson's Foundation Helpline immediately will help expedite the process of finding appropriate options in your area.
