Have no perception of time. Don"t know what day, what date and how late it is. No energy for people, problem solving or concentration. My muscles are stiff, experiencing severe headaches and extreme back pain and abdominal pain. Gaining weight every day although I hardly eat. What is going on with my body?

The cognitive symptoms you're describing - memory issues, confusion about time, and difficulty concentrating - are common experiences with Parkinson's disease. Many MyParkinsonsTeam members report similar challenges with memory and mental fatigue, including freezing mid-sentence or having trouble following conversations. The physical symptoms you mention - muscle stiffness, fatigue, and lack of energy - are also typical manifestations of Parkinson's. Many members report feeling extremely fatigued regardless of how much rest they get. This fatigue can be both physical and mental, making it difficult to concentrate or participate in daily activities. Some experience this tiredness constantly, while others find it comes and goes throughout the day. Given the complexity of your symptoms, it would be beneficial to discuss these changes with your healthcare provider, particularly regarding the weight gain and pain issues. They can evaluate if your current treatment plan needs adjustment to better manage your symptoms and improve your quality of life.
