I use THC tincture at night for sleep and it works very well to relax my body so I can drift off to sleep. Also, if I am having a particularly uncomfortable off time take a puff. It's very effective to decrease my tremors and anxiety. I. do that about once or twice a week. If you try it start off slow and a very small amount. You can always add more but it is not fun doing to much. Edibles in particular can be nasty if you take too much.

Research on marijuana's benefits for Parkinson's is still ongoing, with mixed results. Some studies suggest it may help reduce tremors and levodopa-induced dyskinesia (uncontrollable movements), while others show no significant improvement in motor symptoms.

For non-motor symptoms, marijuana may help with:
- Chronic pain management
- Anxiety reduction
- Sleep improvement
- Mood enhancement
- Fatigue reduction However, it's important to note that marijuana doesn't work for everyone. Some MyParkinsonsTeam members report significant benefits, while others find no relief from symptoms.

Important considerations:
- It may worsen hallucinations if you already experience them
- Insurance typically doesn't cover it due to federal laws
- Long-term use can lead to dependency
- Always consult your doctor before trying marijuana to discuss potential risks and benefits
