It's been 3 weeks now since that happened to me. Seriously, I have lost a lot of functionality in both my hands and legs. And it's really taking a toll on my speech. Members rallied around someone experiencing a sudden and scary decline in hand and leg function, speech, and overall stamina over three weeks, offering warm encouragement and prayers throughout the thread. A recurring theme was the importance of being your own advocate, with several members urging the original poster to push for answers sooner rather than waiting months, and sharing that keeping detailed journals and recording appointments can help navigate complex care. One caregiver also shared a deeply moving story about caring for a loved one with Parkinson's, finding strength and joy even in the hardest moments.

You are so correct on that dear. I actually keep journals. When I attend the appointments with Nancy and Steven. I don't only get there medical records but I'm recording what the doctor saying. And then later I check it online it's me sources that I can because there are so many things thrown at people that have Parkinson's like here try this try this. It will works from one person may not work for another. So you have to be careful and you have to be your own advocate research as long as you can.

@A MyParkinsonsTeam Member If your neurologist and np are concerned why are they willing to wait until December? Please be your own best advocate and demand help or at least some idea of what is happening now not months from now. To me that is just unacceptable!
