Sometimes I find that thinking to myself left right helps keep my gait from freezing up
KIMP how right you are. I could talk the hind legs off a donkey when it comes to my experience of Pure Akinesia πΆ looking back it was about as much use to me as ten tons of manure in my life. Honestly it used to drive me nuts I would get so depressed about it. I would cry and punch things in anger because I didn't necessarily have Bradykinesia or Dyskinesia at the same time so I will be walking around pretty well and then with no warning whatsoever I would stop and that was it it. In my self I wanted to carry on while I was doing but I just could not move and sometimes it would be hours. I would have to go through the list of friends and family that I could call if I was really stuck. I got stuck in Halfords buying some tools. After what must have been close to three quarters of an hour, various members of staff watching me wondering why I was like a statue in the middle of the walkway the manager came over to me I explained but I don't think it made a lot of difference in the end he got me a chair and I sat on it feeling like an absolute Pratt. I was crossing Oxford Street in London and I stopped on the white line and made friends with the taxi drivers and the bus drivers Not π² I could always drive although on one occasion I thought I was going to die exiting a motorway when I couldn't lift my foot from the accelerator to the brakes ! I developed agoraphobia and lost contact with many people during that period. I say during that period because I don't suffer with it now. I switched to the duo dopa pump and I reckon it turn the clock back 10 12 years for me. π₯³π₯³π²πποΈπ«
Sending you hope and big hugs x

Thanks Phil, for taking the time to write this. Do you have tremors?
Yes it can be frustrating you wash your dishes and you want to turn around to wipe the table and you can't seem to move
