I am finding the pain from peripheral neuropathy more difficult to deal with than PD at times. The relief for neuropathy is even more vague than relief for PD symptoms. And when the two get together with bradykinesia plus a nerve flare, I can't do much of anything. I would really like to hear from other people who have had experience with this. Thanks!
No knee replacements but I do take gabapentin for neuropathy due to diabetes 2. It seems there is no ryhme or reason (or answers?) with PD - I have a few medical things going on and never really know which is causing what symptom. Good luck to you!
Susan I know exactly what you mean I had both knees replaced and the left one developed staph and had to be replaced again and did not heal correctly and I endure daily pain in the knee and thigh and calf muscles and the pain causes my pd symptoms to constantly be aggravated. It's awful!!!my leg gets stiff and sometimes feels like lightning going through it.me and Mr Tylenol are good friends only God knows what my liver looks like! I'll keep in you in my prayers
Fortunately I have not had a knee replaced yet. Susan I hope that your pain from it can be resolved. That plain sucks.
