After a couple of falls that resulted in hospitalization, I ordered a life alert system. Since then, I've been with ADT for several years without a serious fall thanks to use of a walker and electric wheelchair. There have been a few false alarms, especially while showering, so it's best to keep the two-way base unit handy. Also, unless completely home-bound, alert system should have GPS capability.

Thank you. This is helpful. There are several that sound good, so it's difficult to decide.
