I seem to go from being so constipated I think I'll never go again to all the way in the opposite direction to where I wonder if I'll ever stop, my body seems like it can't find a happy medium and I can't. Make plans without worrying what's going to happen! Any ideas how to handle this situation? I don't mean to seem stupid but it's awful! I'm open to suggestions

Members responded with empathy and encouragement to someone struggling with unpredictable bowel issues related to Parkinson's, emphasizing that this is a well-known and exhausting challenge in the community. Several members shared practical remedies that have helped them, including oregano oil, MCT oil, kaolin-pectin, senna tea, aloe vera juice, magnesium, Dulcolax, Miralax, and a daily bowl of bran flakes with raisins and blueberries. A recurring theme was that nothing works consistently for everyone, so patience and willingness to try different approaches are key.

Oh my, those issues are horrible ... so don't feel stupid, it's an exhausting situation!!! I completely understand this situation unfortunately all to well!! My newer "find" to add to my previously mentioned Aloe Vera juice, senna tea smooth move and magnesium is oregano oil ... I'm not exaggerating when I say has literally regulated my bowels, first-time in decades ... got it for my husband's chubby tummy he wanted to fix and I noticed how regular he became and with ease, not to fast of a notice or too long in potty and he kept saying how completely he evacuated ... and it is really working on the chubby tummy, he's happy ... it's target is anti-parasite but also anti-viral, soooo I wondered if it'd help me and I swear to my complete satisfaction in regulating my bowels which has alleviated a lot of inflammatory pain and brain fog ... I'm happy I tried and of course this is just my experience, take it at that level and do the research ... they advertise a pricey high dose Resilia brand all over the place, I got ours on Amazon named MAJU, organic and non-gmo, a less potent dosage but you may want the full strength ... anyways, best of luck, praying for you 🙏

My husband had the same problem, but now he eats a big bowl of branflakes with raisins 3-4 times a week, topped with blueberries when available, and he rarely has to take Miralax anymore at night. He used to take Miralax in a glass of water regularly every night until he started eating the cereal. I hope you'll give it a try. It will take awhile to get your body regulated, so don't expect miracles right away. Good luck!
