Is it just me or do your tremors and other symptoms get really bad when you are constipated?
Constipation always affects my husband w/PD. He gets UTIs frequently and the meds from that always constipate him even more than PD does. He takes miralax every other day. Sometimes more.
Ain't that the sh-ts?
@A MyParkinsonsTeam Member, Rytary mostly takes care of my tremors, but nothing, and I mean NOTHING wears me out than relieving myself especially when I'm constipated.
Constipation causes rigidity throughout my entire body. Straining to go makes all my muscles spasm. I recently experienced the worst day of this. I self-medicated with several different things. Finally, the Fleet Enema worked. I shared what had happened with my PT. She did an abdominal massage and explained explained everything that was a contributing factor. I am doing my best to follow her advice. So far, so good 🤞.
Fortunately, tremors are not bad for me yet, everything seemed to just be a little better and the constipation far better,
