Lightheaded. When I came home I staggered to the door fed my dog and crashed on the couch crazy lightheaded, felt faint and disoriented. I’m sure it’s because I ran out of my OH med, it was hot and probably as much as I try dehydrated. Ended up in the hospital. Packed as usual. Managed to get an EKG which was good. Blood work. Didn’t stay and have to wait hours for treatment. I can look in My Chart to get results of blood tests . Some of the numbers were concerning especially for liver and… read more

Members connected with someone feeling overwhelmed by the overlapping challenges of orthostatic hypotension, fatigue, kidney concerns, and a pending Parkinson's diagnosis, offering both empathy and practical coping ideas. Several members shared the frustration of severe fatigue and lightheadedness, with one suggesting starting tasks early on good days to get more done before energy runs out. A recurring theme was the importance of simplifying daily life, leaning on friends for help, starting a gratitude journal, and staying in close contact with both a PCP and neurologist, especially when managing mental health conditions alongside a neurological illness.

I still get lightheaded. I know I need to hydrate more. That’s a biggie. Another conflicting thing with it is that I need salt. And because I have a risk of kidney stones , Im supposed to stay away from salt. What to do? I’m thinking I have anxiety worrying Im going to be lightheaded. And I get lightheaded! Just a theory. I’m taking 600 mg of the Northera. I didn’t realize you have so many things to deal with. So sorry. Kudos to you for staying positive. I always enjoy reading your narratives. So thought provoking and informative. I appreciate you ❤️‍🩹
